About Ganesh Chaturthi

Ganesh Chaturthi, introduced as a public festival by Lokmanya Tilak in 1893, is now one of Mumbai’s largest celebrations.

The festival features community gatherings, music, rituals, processions, idol immersion, and is also a major driver of the economy.

In recent years, eco-friendly initiatives have been introduced to preserve traditions while protecting the environment.
